Who cares whether or not we HAVE to be in first? I WANT to be in first! AND win the competition. Oh yeah...that would be the pwnage.

Nuts, Fangorn posted the Gwindor answer.
*sprays more weedkiller on the Ents*

Neeeew questions!
Team Fangorn Question 4: What sight is particularily sickening for an evil race? Team Hank Question 4: What would have barred a homeward path, had the way not lain in the opposite direction?
I'm thinking Council of Elrond for this one...something lies between them and the Shire, and the way leads to Mordor...

P.S. somebody nudge Elendil when they post and tell him he didn't actually update the scores correctly.

Fern Leaf's noted it, Ducky.
Tough question. I have no real ideas for it. I'm going to have a flick through The Hobbit becuase we haven't had a question from there yet.

elarith, that is a bad question and brings some traumas back. we became last with only one point. the last match ended in a tie and boy did we celebrate that we had a point. so as you can see we've already improved, we already have two points this season and are doing great. and ducky, I know you want to be first but we're not first after seven matches then we can still become champion, that was my point. about the question, I have no idea. I remember at one point someone ( I have no idea who) wants to go home but they can't because their home has changed as well so they have to go the other way to fix that. am I making sense here. it could be that this is only so in the movies and not in the books.maybe when merry can go home but choses to go with the army of rohan or something like that. or ducky's council of elrond suggestion, they want to go back to the shire but have to go to mordor. I'll stop rambling now and start doing something useful like thinking about it and go through the books.

Still nothing. I'm heading out now and might not be back before the deadline, but I will keep thinking!

I think the deadline is technically passed...but I'm looking for an answer anyway, since the results haven't been posted, nor Fangy stolen. Not sure their answer is good either...but it might be.

Oh wait...the deadline is passed. What that means just hit me. Bah, I didn't have an answer anyway, despite searching. Hopefully they won't post a steal. Oh and by the way, we just lost our win from MT because they forfeited the season...

I saw that, it's pretty gutting to have our first win wiped off. We're now last because of our Lorien result, which sucks. Let's demolish the Ents with our last question and climb back up a few places.
I still have no idea about the answer to our question. Only 2 hours before steal deadline ends

Hey, um...I moved to Mordor. And so...I won't be here awhile. I might be back before the end of the season, I only moved to join their debate team and help them finish off the season.

new questions. we're still in the lead and we are going to win this: Team Fangorn Question 5: What King temporarily lived in the dark evening? Team Hank Question 5: Who did not refuse, but later returned a gift? nothing comes to mind right now but I'll think about.
kingO why are you leaving us as well. and to mordor no less. I hope we'll see you again. good luck with the debate./

I'm not sure that can ben counted as a gift. maybe it was the stewardship of gondor that faramir had for a short time. I'll look it up. and your english is completely understandable, don't worry about it.

alright, I have something. it doesn't completely cover the question but it's a start: take counsil with yourself, beloved, and ask whether you would indeed have me wait until I wither and fall from my high seat unmanned and witless. Nay, lady, I am the last of the Numenoreans and the latest King of the Elder Days; and to me has been given not only a span thrice that of men of Middle-Earth, but also the grace to go at my will, and give back the gift. Now, therefore, I will sleep. (ROTK, appendix A) I'll keep looking
