Checked her profile and she's from Croatia, so it could be something lost in translation.

Still have over 4 hours to deadline but I'm going to post soon because I'm not sure who else will be about when I nip off to bed in a few minutes.
Any final comments or answers, the time to pipe up is now!
(I did briefly check 'Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbit' but Sam diligently washed his pots out afterwards so that put the kibosh on that)

Our answer was accepted, and Rivendell's rejected. wooha!
A little more than an hour to steal, I'm rummaging now but haven't found anything that looks a certain answer.

Well, I posted something for the steal - the orcs scouts threaetned with having their ears cut off. Not convinced about it but we'll see. And it looks like Rivvy are appealing against the rejection of their answer.

Well done Elarith! ;D
Here's the next set;
Imladris Question #2 ~ Who expected a certain visitor on the door, but somebody else came instead? Team Hank Question #2 ~ What stones looked like a body part?
I'm going to have to go scout around for ours, but I'm pretty sure Imladris' is this, just in case we have a chance for a steal;
"Then he strode away just about the time when Bilbo was finishing his second cake and beginning to think that he had escaped adventures very well. The next day he had almost forgotten about Gandalf. He did not remember things very well, unless he put them down on his Engagement Tablet: like this: Gandalf Tea Wednesday. Yesterday he had been too flustered to do anything of the kind. Just before tea-time there came a tremendous ring on the front-door bell, and then he remembered! He rushed and put on the kettle, and put out another cup and saucer, and an extra cake or two, and ran to the door. 'I am so sorry to keep you waiting!' he was going to say, when he saw that it was not Gandalf at all. It was a dwarf with a blue beard tucked into a golden belt, and very bright eyes under his dark-green hood." (An Unexpected Party / The Hobbit)

Wow, wasn't expecting the steal to be right, but yay! *waves Hank flags*
Agreed about Rivvy's question. I think they'll get it as it's pretty straight-forward.
Ours... hmm... stones looking like teeth maybe? It seems to ring a bell - maybe the stones on the Barrow Downs? Will ponder over my cup of coffee.

How about this?
""'Splendid!' said Frodo. 'If we make as good going this afternoon as we have done this morning, we shall have left the Downs before the Sun sets and be jogging on in search of a camping place.' But even as he spoke he turned his glance eastwards, and he saw that on that side the hills were higher and looked down upon them; and all those hills were crowned with green mounds, and on some were standing stones, pointing upwards like jagged teeth out of green gums." FotR, Fog on the Barrow-downs

Or...
"Merry stared at the lines of marching stones: they were worn and black; some were leaning, some were fallen, some cracked or broken; they looked like rows of old and hungry teeth." RotK, The Muster of Rohan
Do teeth count as a body part?
There's also a mention in RotK, The Passing of the Grey Company of a standing stone before the Door that leads into the Dwimorberg looking like a finger, but that's only a single stone.

Yay, you found it, silly me was lost in the Ephel Duath looking for the Frodo quote, lol *g* I think teeth are a body part, and that's the quote I had in mind. But looking at it I think either will do. We're on a roll

Cool beans. If teeth aren't a body part, I dont know what they'd be classed as!
Seath, do you fancy posting the answer as you did the running round for quotes for the last one?
